I've been told that Saab seats will fit straight in a T25 with no real bother! Anyone fitted them and could confirm this, or share any tips on how best to fit them?
Thanks[/b]

There's a good description in the Wiki but I'm not sure I'd it "no real bother" ;).

I've noticed that the runners on a Saab 9-5 seat are closer together than those of a 9000, even though the 9-5 is the replacement for the 9000.
Anyone know any more detail on that?

None of them are a straight fit. You will have to get busy with an angle grinder, fabricate spacers and drill and bolt through the existing runners. It is all pretty straightforward though just go for it!

The Wiki is a good place to start.
I would also recomend getting all your spacers, bolts, nuts, washers etc sorted before you start. Then do the pasenger seat first as this is the easy one. I used a small grind stone to open out the front slots to fit the bolts much easier than trying to drill them out. Easy to get both seats fitted in a day.

PS. Steer well clear of the loverly full electric seats or you will have to spend an age working out what bits to narrow etc. Not worth the bother in my view just stick to the manuelones.

Ive fitted leather seats from a ford scorpio in the front and back, i had to grind of the old seat rails spot welded to the van, and drill a few holes, ive even fitted them in the back, when its all finished ill put some pics up, its gonna be pimp one day!
oh ment to say, my drivers seat is even electric up and down!
