I have seen a number of adverts for a "T25 2.0 CU AIR COOLED ENGINE".
Is this the same as a "1.9 Aircooled Petrol Engine".
I am currently looking for a good replacement engine for my 1980/91 1.9 litre Aircooled engine. Westfalia Joker.
From looking at Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/T25-TYPE-4-AIR-CO ... dZViewItem
The engine "looks" the same.
Advice needed please
thanks
Miles.

As Rob says if the advertised engine is a 2.0l CU Air Cooled engine then that is the one you want.
Remember:-
2.0l CU air cooled engine (1970cc)
1.9l water cooled engine (1915cc)
Your A/C engine is classed as a 2 litre (not 1.9 litre).

The diz looks like it may be a single vac not the standard dual vac - might be worth asking...
And there's no electronic ignition module on the engine bay side wall - it might be an older points version dizzie.

the condensor on the dizzy gives it away! no electronic ignition, just points, but you can swap with yours no problem!
ask him if the exhaust looks new carbs look rebuilt.

or keep the points as they're pennies to buy and simple to repair.
