whats the s.p on autoboxes lads,im thinkin of rammin one in
said it all really already,just thinkin about whether to swap the manual box im marladys van for an auto.....running a 1.9n/a sweet as a nut,pulls like a c**t,and does stacks to the gallon,is it feasable to bang one on a diesbag????,advice and p**s take gladly accepted(especially from kev!)

Got an auto on my 2.1 dj.
love it to bits (hated the idea at first)
I get about 25 mpg on a long run. Which I think is pretty good for a tintop.
I think you will need all the accelerator linkages and obviously the gear lever, fittings.

I think the floorpan where the gearstick goes is different. I have a 2ltr Aircooled auto and I think it's great. but very heavy on the juice, but then again, I thought all the Aircooled ones were. I get about 12miles to the gallon. But it is just like driving a very big bumper car. Without the big ariel thing at the back. And the bloke stood on it.
