Hi everyone,
im planning on changing the finaldrive oil and ATF next week for the first time since buying our van a couple of years ago.
Whoever did this last i think has really overtightened the bolts on the sump and I'm worried that after i take it off im not going to get a decent seal when i come to put it back on.
It doesn't look like the sump plate is available as a part anymore either. I've put I post in the wanted section here but not expecting that its going to be something that anyone has lying around.
Are there any suggestions about best way to mitigate a potentially wonky plate?
cheers
Terry

Re: autobox sump
I very much doubt the plate will be distorted. The bolts would snap before they could bend the plate.

Re: autobox sump
If you haven't already bought one.I suggest you change the ATF strainer as well.
