Hi folks,
Is there any alternative ball joint seperator tool available that ye use? Any time I search I keep getting sent to websites that reference the vw267a part which I then can't actually find anywhere. Similarly, what ball point press do ye use?

Thanks
Martin

Re: Ball joint separator and press alternatives
Been working on cars/vans for 25 years and never used a ball joint separator, just hit the arm where the taper goes through with a big hammer a few times and it will shock it loose. I've done hundreds, on all kinds of rusty old rammel and it has never failed me.

Appreciate that thanks. Any particular press you used to put it all back together?

James Akers video should help you https://youtu.be/4Igdi8tZLDo
Tbh whenever I’ve changed ball joints, I just wind them in with the nut.
