Hi there,

there’s a reservoir under my left front wheel arch
that doesn’t appear to be functional.
Can anyone tell me what it is or use to be used for? Obviously it’s not for the windscreen washer. Here is a pic.

Fuel expansion tank. It should have hoses leading to and from the petrol tank. Due to the shape of the fuel tank it helps to fill it to the top/lets air out. Fuel can expand and shrink depending on temperature too.
