My van has always started first time, but this morning refused. Turns over, battery was well charged, but no brmmm. Alas as I had 15 minutes to get the kids to school and get to work I had no time to look at anything at all, just had to run for it - what should I check first when I get home?

Can't help on the injection side but have you got fuel ? Some little toe-rag's not pulled a pipe off an made off with your juice,it's been known ? Rather unusual to switch it off one night and it not attempt the following morning.

Presumably there's an injection pump relay and related fuse on the 2.1i ?

Ian.

I saw you just as I went past! Was battling with my gears and waved too late......

Van has worked fine today - put a rubber glove and a condom over the box until I get a replacement lid for it........ :D

Mine wouldn't start a while back... It was acting as though it was damp, but a good spray with WD40 didn't fix it.

Everything else was spot on, but it stilll wouldn't start.

In the end I traced it to a faulty temp sender (the one for the ECU, not the temp. gauge). £14 from GSF and a 30 second job to fit - didn't even need any tools!

Now it starts perfectly every time. :)
