CamperJamists - info and request
Nearly there.. preparations still going strong and loads still to do..
Syncro camping will be in the usual spot as the last 2 years, up the hill, past VIP camping, just opposite the off road course.
This years charity is... The Bone Cancer Research Trust..
Last year we raised around £1300 for McMillan.. lets see what we can do this year..
Rides will take place Saturday and Sunday... Same price as last year, £2 per person... (an absolute bargain considering the unique nature of it..)
We have a selection of exclusive CJ17 badges to purchase to, these are limited and all proceeds will go to the charity (Just like the rides, no costs are taken out, every penny we take is donated..)
We also have in honor of Pete Pollard (PC52) who recently lost his battle to cancer, kindly donated by Camperjam, a weekend family pass for CJ18, we will raffle this off with tickets being sold over the weekend, the winner will be notified and the certificate posted out to them if they have departed the show already..
For the Saturday night meal, we dont have a theme.. well.... we do.. its "bring your specialty".....
Basically, anything suitable to bring and share..
A little suggestion I got from elsewhere is, please could you make up a post card of ingredients for your dish as there are few peeps with allergies (saves repeating yourself many times too)
Please could you also bring a table for setting out the meal on as "the few" tend to struggle bringing several tables and all the other gubbins we need bring along to the event. Better to have too many tables than not enough...
I think thats it for now....

Since I will be parked up with syncronauts shall I do a big cauldron o rice again?
I will do my best to tend it lovingly and not to smoke it this time...

Will do a quick-and-simple dessert, probably Eaton Mess or similar - Not lack of culinary skills you understand, more lack of time this week...

Re: CamperJamists - info and request
Time....
Yes.. something I have been lacking for the last 10 months
Special sticky chicken wings from my end.. (Go well with the rice Ian)
may well be a load of BBQ drumsticks too as my order for chicken wings was replaced with drumsticks.. Have to see if I can squeeze the BBQ in .....
My special garlic mayo dip will also be on hand...
DrPhil is bringing a freezer full of lollys etc..
