Morning all

I recently purchased a 1982 2.0l air cooled high top (Caravelle I think - pictures would be below but cant manage to add them), it passed its MOT June with no advisories, but I have noticed a few little things that I would like to keep on top of.
1. Slight oil leak under the engine bay.
2. Slight rusting under one or two of the window seals.
3. She's a smelly bugger (petrol fumes)

If you can give me any tips for the oil and how to deal with the rust before it becomes a problem it would be brilliant, also any other general maintenance tips and hints you guys could give me would be completely amazing as I would like to keep her for as long as possible.

I'd certainly address the petrol smell first.

It's probably nothing serious, but better safe than sorry.

. . . . . . . Oh, and in your forum account settings change your signature to be your van details/engine details.

Then when you post with questions and queries other forum users won't need to keep asking what you are driving.
