power lead removal help

Hey guys, just wanted to check something...
I've just run a new lead from under the drivers seat to the dash fuse box. (Everything is being upgraded)
The old lead disappeared into the middle of the loom, underneath the bus. It doesn't connect to anything else does it?
The engine feeds appeared to come from the starter, so I'm guessing nothing went backwards.

One cable (usually a narrowed 6mm cable) goes from battery to fusebox. Then theres a thick cable that goes into loom beneath the bus and terminates at starter. You have to do both.

if it hasnt been buggered with , it just runs from the starter battery to the fuse box.
i just put a new line in from the alternator, to the starter , to the battery in one of ours, i left the original in place and ran the new one along side, keeping both, the hardest bit is above the fuel tank and up into the battery box ...... saw no point in taking the old one out, it was working, just getting old and loosing volts, so its still connected, it just has a nice thick new one along side . No voltage loss tween the alternator and the battery now

Yup, Steve's got it. keep both. I went a stage further and transferred the heavy items like headlights, rad fan and blower to a new 6 or 8-way fusebox that is supplied by your new fatter cable. Everything else (radio etc) can stay on old fusebox. It does pay to terminate in a junction box first as it makes it far easier to connect new fusebox or in the case of headlights you could even use inline fuses directly from the junction box.
Bit of faffing about initially, but once done you'll realise how much you were losing using original 6mm dash feed.

That's great, thanks guys.
From the battery under the seat backwards, everything has been done.
There was just this last wire & I couldn't tell if it had joins in it anywhere, or was just a single run from fuse box to battery.
Sounds like I'm all good.
