tonneau bars
Hi, hoping someone will know what kind of steel I would need to use to get someone to make up these simple bars for under a tonneau cover. Hoping it's a simple(and cheap )job. Unfortunately you can't buy them, so need to get them made. It's the two simple steel bars in the picture.
They just hold the tarp up about 50mm to stop water pooling.
Cheers in advance.

Re: tonneau bars
Google you local metal suppliers or local spring makes, its normally spring steel. I can get standard aluminuim tonneau pickup bars , £35 each including plastics. Cheers ade

Re: tonneau bars
Thanks for that Ade, wasn't sure what kind of steel they use. If I have no luck, are the ones you sell specific to a doka ? or would you need some measurements from me ?
Please don't take offence as it's not meant personally, but I'm a bit surprised at how much each they are
But I appreciate your reply

Re: tonneau bars
The ones i get are 67 inches long curved round aluminuim tubing with knock in plastic ends which locate into plastic abs fittings , they are generic toneau bars. Believe it or not , but theres no mark up on that for me
