Just seen a gorgeous caravelle cl in Salisbury, whilst looking around it I noticed that instead of having several separate pieces of tinware it just had the one which resembled a belly tank. It was a single pressed steel piece of metal and tidied things up a lot. Not seen one like this before, in the flesh, eBay, on here, etc and was wondering if it was anything special or not. Many thanks, Mitch.

Mines in the barn, you can have it if you want it - it's a bit of a drive though. :D

Right O. It appears that I needn't bother then. The van I saw was a beauty, all genuine with a bit of patina driven by a super friendly chap whom gave me 20 minutes of his time in the car park despite him running late.

If you have a diesel engined van they keep the external noise down.

WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY??? It would take more than a bit of insulated tin to mKe my diesel quiet! Despite it being lined and carpeted it rattles like a bad thing. It doesn't help that there's daylight coming in by the sliding door. My first van has a full bulkhead and when I got the diesel which is without any bulk head, I couldn't believe the difference in sound. The full bulk head goes a long way to killing any rattles from the back, especially as it's bare panels - probably would be deafening if it was removed.
