Lowering and Wide Wheels

Hi all im looking to lower my t25 hightop,im think im gonna go for Avo 50mm lowering kit and i've been offered a set of merc 16" alloys 205 on the front 225 on the rear.What i want to know is will the tyres rub anywhere or any problems or issues with this set up? Thanks

It's hard to tell without knowing the offset of the wheels. The front has a fair amount of room. The rears are more likely going to be the ones to cause issues.

Yes regarding the offset but no regarding the 'room' front and rear.

The rear of a T3 can cope with a lower offset and wider wheels than the front.

The width of the alloys as well as the offset(ET)is very very important!

If the tyres are 205 car tyres then they aren't suitable.

True as regards reading but not when it comes to the information...no mention whatsoever of wheel load ratings and using car wheels on a van that can potentially carry 2.5 ton.

Plus most of the offsets stated are pure guess work!
