Emergency !!!! I think I have a possible alternator problem on my 1984 1900 petrol t25 . It just cut out today at a roundabout and refused to start the battery sounded completely flat . This has happened before a few weeks back but it started again after a few attempts . This time it didn't . I have checked the battery connections and they are solid . We r going away on Friday and so far no one in newquay that i have spoken is able to look at it till next week aargh !! Can anyone help or recommend anybody please

Have you checked the voltage at the battery to see if it is actually dead ? Either a cheap volt meter or try your lights with main and horn at same time . That should at least tell you if you have little volty things running around inside the battery. Daz

Hello, just had a chat with a mate in Hayle who uses Hayle mot guildford rd Hayle 01736754738. They're used to older vehicles-theyve got an old mg.
Mention checking the wires I told you that corroded on my van.

I was just going to recommend Nigel. He really knows his stuff. I've known him for a long time and seen him do some excellent work.
