Oil Breather Tower

Hi All, just a quick question - i have noticed a tiny smidgen of oil coming out of the bottom of the oil breather tower (where the tower meets the block by the engine number). It has a new rubber seal, but have noticed that the nuts weren't that tight - should they be done up as tight as possible or is it something that shouldn't be overtight? Alternatively, i suppose it's possible that the seal is naff.

Cheers in advance, Justin.

Strip it (carefull not to drop anything down the hole) pack the hole with clean cloth. Clean all the sealing surfaces possibly replace the O-ring and apply a thin coat of Hylomar or similar. Remove cloth, rebuild and carefully retighten.
