renault 2.2 in a t25?

has anyone fitted/tried to fut a renault diesel2.2 in a t25 Aircooled, sisters getting rid of her car so just a thought.

saw a caravelle at vanfest last year 05 with an renault alpine v6 turbo motor in it using the renault box as well. the drive shafts mated up using the renault/ ford adaptors used on gt40 kit cars as the ford cv is the same as vw. there is a french web site showing how to fit a renault box to a vw deisel and showing how to flip to the diff, including gearbox mount and gear linkage, i have thought of fitting a renault deisel and box myself, let me know how you get on, will try to find the web address and post on here
