rear wheel bearing renewal question

hi,
have got castle nut slack on rear wheel and got new bearing set ready to renew the rear wheel bearings.am a bit unsure on how much bearing grease you apply to the new bearings. the haynes manual says not too much, but heard off a friend you lather them up with loads.any help appreciated.

Personally I put them in a zip-loc bag with a load of grease and squeeze the grease into the bearing till no more will go in ... save with CV joints but I also put some into the boot as well

plenty grease and fill the void outside the spacer tube, if they run hot the extra grease will melt and provide more lubrication

Don't over grease them that's as bad as under greasing them.
Only 30% of the volume needs to be filled otherwise the churning grease heats up and can cause the cage to hydraulic causing the bearing to skid.

So that's clear then lol.....I'm somewhere in between, fully pack the bearings but half fill the void to allow for expansion.
