H6 3.0L Subaru into a Syncro

Hi all just like some advise on putting a H6 sub motor into my Syncro Doka.
My biggest concern is ground clearance. I have seen some conversions on the net and it looks like they hang
Very low to me or lower then the wbx.
Any advise would be great thank you
Bob.

If you're talking about the EZ engines, here is a good Samba thread

I currently have an EJ25, and very nearly sold that, to complete an EZ30 or EZ36 swap. The sump can be shortened a bit on the EZ30 too (fit a flat plate), but I think it still hangs a bit lower than a WBX. I think the exhause was the lowest spot on the WBX anyway wasn't it?

Thanks for links they do sit low. Defeats the purpose of having a great little off roader then ham stringing it with a over hung motor.
Need more research.
I do want more power though.
Thanks again.
Bob.

No ground clearance issues when fitted with a shortened sump.
