Hi,
Can anyone advise me how to remove the cab roofrack on my '87 Westfalia?
I'm replacing the old seal - the seal from the pop-top is off but the 4 x screws which hold on the roofrack is proving impossible to remove - the 4 x brass screws/pins at the back of the roofrack casing are also impossible to remove.

Any advice is appreciated!

Sorry, i dont know, but are they phillips head screws?? if so cut a slot in them and use a flat screw driver

back to your rack a picky would cheer us all up and make sure were all working from the same sheet i overheard this office speak a moment ago,,, anyhow are the screw going through the cab roof, if so then just drop the lining and get to them

They are flat head screws which won't turn when using a big flat screw driver. Have been advised to try heating the screwhead (with a hairdrier) then squirting in WD40 - no luck!

Camera is broken, sorry no pics. The 4x screws(one on each side of r-rk) don't go through cab roof.
