Changing water Pump on 1.9 dg

water pump on my 1.9 dg engine has started to leak water from the spindle on the pump......is it easy to change this pump? is there anything special I should know,or do when changing it?.....please

There is nothing particularly worth mentioning other than, get the new pump from Brickwerks (
HERE ) to ensure quality, re-fill with 50% G12 antifreeze and take care bleeding the air out (instructions again in our "wiki")

p.s. = measure up the size of any of the VW hose clips that need to come off and go buy some Jubilee clips in the same size, those VW springy clips are a sod to get off and even harder to get back on without the special tool
