get someone to turn it over while you crack open one of the fuel lines on top of an injector...soon as you see pressure close it off again if that fails....drag it

So, the excitement of the engine starting, was soon replaced with dismay, at the commencement of a major oil leak.
Oil literally started pissing out of the join between the oil cooler mount and the oil cooler.
Looks like I need a new seal and some sealant. Can anyone tell me what kind of sealant? Bentley says AMV 188 100-02 but I don't know what that is.

New seal and some sealant all in, that seems ok.
Problems-
I only seem to have got about 7 litres of coolant in, and it's pouring out the top of the radiator when open bleed screw.
I haven't yet attached the drive shafts to the outputs on the gearbox. Should the outputs on the gearbox be turning when in neutral?
There is exhaust gasses/smoke near the top of the engine, around the injector nearest to hone cam belt. Can injector leak fumes? Does this just need tightening up?
You think you're getting there then more problems just appear. Getting me down now. Just want it running right then I can try for an MOT.

Any thoughts on my last post?
Also my insurance renewal (with 2gether) came through at £125. Rang them and told them engine changed from 1.6 to 1.9 and because I've changed it myself and not had it done professionally renewal went up to £180!!!
Looks like I'll be getting alternative quotes.

leave the radiator bleed and just keep filling up the res in the engine bay (not the one behind the flap) till theres no more air bubbles
the gearbox flanges will turn but not under load when its in neutral..its just 'momentum' turning them..for want of a better word
its not just spilled coolant / oil / degreaser on the head that's vapouring ?

It smells very exhausty. And increases when revved. Only noticed it as was working in dark with a torch. The mole although couldn't see exact source certainly seemed to come from the injector.

Yes used CS inlet and exhaust for now. Used the 1Y gasket on the exhaust, though it was the same as the one fitted to the CS.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee it didn't do it in the donor, I didn't hold a torch to it in the dark
Decided not going to worry about it for now, will try and get everything else done and then see where the land lies.

I am currently in dispute with them (and seeking a new company to arrange quotes) as they have cancelled my insurance due to modifications undeclared. But as I pointed out to them, all modifications were declared 3 years ago when i initially went with them, this was just another renewal. Reading between the lines I haven't been insured for the last 3 years, despite declaring everything with them.

Well this is the finished product if anyone is interested.
May yet do little bits of tidying up and timkering
