Theres actually quite a lot. We just don't have a gallery facility for that purpose. I've tried to get a few in the WIKI but don't want to overload 80/90's bandwidth. That said, there are loads of spin-offs including:

There's quite a few in the
Wiki Tech Archive here, the main repository for rollering info and pics
If there's piccies that would positively add to the rollering article, we can make sure they are in the Wiki, doubt if we need a gallery of rollered vans per se, although it can always be mentioned in members' Garaged vehicles details

I have a colour swatch coming from rustoleumdirect.
Will scan it in and try to get a close swatch to screen representation.

Incidentally, have this week done the obligiatory pre-winter touch up. Perfect match and took all of 15 minutes

Hi everyone, we painted the first coat today. Spent yesterday sanding, until we were both yellow from head to foot! Got up this morning at 7:30am - On A Sunday!!!! - Jase spent a good hour masking up, while I folded in the thinner. We did 8 yogurt pots of paint to 2 of thinner. Started painting at 9am. Finished at nearly 12pm. Jase did the rollering, while I did the fiddly bits. It was just starting to spit with rain when we were doing the last panel, and Jase was cussing something chronic, but it didn't come to anything thankfully. It already looks gorgeous. Will post some pics tomorrow. It looks a bit patchy at the very back, where some repair was done before we got her, and it's fibreglass or something (

), and Jase says he can't do anything with it. Saying that, compared to how she looked before we started, she looks 100 times better already. (I don't think there was actually anything we could have done to make her look any worse!)
Thank you to everyone again for all of the advice. I will be reading the Wiki again before we start flattening back next weekend.

You can often get away with a light shower if paint has almost gone off. Been there myself. So, convinced?
Good to do this job in pairs, one to roller and the other to mess with extra masking and pointing out runs or lines. Works best with two of you.

Yes, very convinced!

Well I think so anyway. I'll save final judgement for the finished product when it's been polished and is looking like glass. Hopefully!

It's looking good so far, and worth all the hard work with the sanding and resanding, etc.
One of our neighbours has already asked about it, and says it looks 100 times better already.
I'm guessing it is better in pairs. Although, when we were getting to the end and it started spitting with rain, Jase was rollering and I was holding the paint tray and doing the fiddly little bits. You've probably guessed, I spilt some paint! So we now have a lovely yellow splodge on the pavement!

<<<< It's that colour too!
Will keep you updated.

Remember, I did note in the WIKI that putting plenty of cardboard down helps and that if you hold tray and concentrate on rollering, chances are you'll spill it. Put it down. Admit it, you ignored that bit didn't you.
If weather makes it difficult to do big areas, you can always do subsequent coats on seperate panels, as and when. Awkward areas can be done with sponge brushes or in some cases, a small narrow ordinary brush. You generally have to remove doors, one at a time, to fully get to all areas but you can get the main body paint on long before that. I tend to see any pre-winter touch up as the equivalent of waterproofing a boat hull now.
Steps need to be painted FIRST thing in the day and ideally don't fully close a door until 24 hours later so paint is at least cured unless you have some heat to dry it faster - otherwise door rubbers may mark the paint. The body needs far more coats (generally) than small edges and trim which aren't seen so much and exposed to the ravages of the road. If you do touch up later, always try to do a panel area up to seam lines rather than small areas that will leave tell-tale signs that you've been at work.
More bugs about now, so a polythene sheet laid over tray masy help keep the perishers out in between roller replenishment - just an idea.
