Hurry up and get the van sorted so we can all see it! Just make sure you spell it right or people will be booking you for weddings! (forgive me, I hope we get on well enough for me to take the P*ss cause you've done it enough to me!!)

Re: Finally had a day welding etc! And now onto the interior!
Just in from another day on the interior, no pics other than my home made router table
separated out all the cupboards inside the units there fully scribed into the van wall's so fridge is sealed etc, started on the over bed lockers took some working out, might end up looking the same as before but there loads bigger by juggling things about a bit! Rain tried to stop play but ended up with the awning tied to my Dads car

It's the safest way of using a router, I am building my table at the moment.jamesc76 wrote:Cheers buddy, makes it so much easier than using the router as that one should! Think health and sefety would have a fit if they saw it tho!

Yeah lot safer way to operate, but made that with the trigger zip tied on on the router, and a domestic light switch! ! But was a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a proper one!

I'm going to use the same on my table although I do have a proper On/Off switch (salvaged from our scrap bin).jamesc76 wrote:Yeah lot safer way to operate, but made that with the trigger zip tied on on the router, and a domestic light switch! ! Done a bit more, trial fitted the fridge and fitted a cover to the top so it's sealed in totally. The space next to the fridge will have 2 deep full extension drawers. Took a few pics of the progress so far so here ya go!

What great work. Can I ask what you are going to put in the seams. Just had loads of work dine to my van bt the paint is cracking at the seams. I am wondering if it is because what has been used.

Cheers
Yeah the silver box is as all gas lockers should be in a sealed metal box with a vent pipe in the base to let any leaked gas escape!
