I think dave is puzzled because your showing intrest in buying a tintop despite having a van and stating you didn't have the funds to repair it...must admit it puzzles me bit as well!

I want to buy a tin top, but i will have to sell my van before i do.
But i only have one vehicle, my syncro a daily vehicle so when i sell my vehicle i need to find another pretty quick that why im asking if anyone has a tin top for sale.

you would get a better price for yours with a working vc so get that fixed first , it doesnt have to be new just one that works, you could start by putting a wanted add in for a vc and see what happens :idea

Thats a good idea. I still dont really know if it works yet it needs to be tested. You never know it might work fine.

Cooper, dont take this the wrong way, but I would suggest you take somebody up on their offer of help. Get someone who knows these vans to have a look at yours, advise you of which items need attention and in what priority. Then, think what you really want, ie sell or keepand what type of vehicle you really need.
You might save yourself a lot of expense and grief. Try to focus on the important things only and stop wondering about less urgent matters, ie where to buy a roof ladder.
Take advice from someone with experience. :ok

Oh yes im going to take harry's offer for help its just when i can and he can do it.

I was only asking where someone got their ladder from.
Multi tasking comes easy to me.

Cheers it sailed through. Just picked it up.
They said its got some power to it which is nice.

One of the guys there has a golf syncro.
