Re: Got syncro?
I'm impressed too!
Myself and Ian spent nigh on four hours last night resolving our issues and looking at the van!
I take my hat off to the man for having the integrity to come see me and put himself in the firing line.
We have made our peace and ended up getting the craic in the end!
So the story gets a happy ending, thank fek!
Cheers Ian! Much appreciated!

Re: Got syncro?
Ok
So i want to run the syncro off diesel and veg oil.
Like how people run petrol and lpg.
What the easyest and cheapest way of doing it?
What do i need to buy to do this?
Cheers

Re: Got syncro?
Always run a mix of diesel and filtered veg oil. Dont be tempted to go into Lidl and fill the tank with cheap veggie oil and dont be tempted to take old oil from chippies either.

Whats the mix ratio to run.
Yeh fair enough. Surely filtered properly the used veg oil will work!

Re: Got syncro?
I dont run veg oil very often but when I do I would run an 80% veg to 20% Diesel or thereabouts. Filtering chip oil is best left to the professionals IMHO

As many have suggested use the search function first, then ask. Simples.

That advice is for older people .......
I think we should get all the young people to write everything down (they know everything and we know nothing) before they get old and experienced and forget everything they thought they knew.
