That might be the case Paddy but I wonder how many of the committee have kids. If I didn't have kids I would have been there. Just disappointed thats all.
Cheers
Rob.

Tackled the front hubs today. I put in longer studs and replaced the wheel bearings - which is just as well as the n/s one was leaking out grease and the seals were u/s on the o/s one. Rear bearings and long studs now done as well as a full brake overhaul.

Just have to find somewhere to locate the Hi Lift and a spare fuel can. Then a good clean up, bolt on the awning and roof tent and off we go. .....

went for a nice weekend way to put some miles on the camper just under 200miles, just to cheak every thing.still working as it should, ran perfectly, just got to exchange the nearly empty gas bottle and sling our stuff in, well sally has too :D.
will change the oil and filter at the weeekend, and yes paddy i may well change the gearbox oil as well for good meashure, as i will be making more than a £20 saving on the beer and wine that we will be bringing back from france on the way back :D

Lidl seem to be doing some cracking deals on some very respectful wine at the moment. I would reckon it may be cheaper than in France but wont know for sure till I get there.

Just put another 1000km's on the AAZ this long weekend  My new oil cooler is awesome and works brilliantly, especially on the 33% hill climb i had to tackle without even booting it  Even managed to drive over the large humps separating the car park at Whitby Abby car park (i couldn't help it and wanted to see if my under slung gas tank caught and my new VC worked, it didnt and it does  ) Really looking forward to Germany now, just godda fit the new oil pressure gauge and water temp Gauge, give the van a clean after this weekend, load up with drinks and off we go.

In the interests of pure alchoholism, purchase of wine in France, Auchan, think it's the next junction to the west of Dunkirk port...
Already have that poi plotted.
Next poi, Veurne, Pitstop garage - diesel and then go.. Germany :D

Lidl knock out a reasonable Temperanillo and a Pinotage at 1.99 yoyos a go, the prices in France a bit higher.
