Have we hijacked this thread Grifter...?
Been thinking we should have a permanently running welding & body fab thread, but what with MetalMick8y doing a great photo journal on his complete refurb, prep and paint + this one now producing some great leads and tips... praps we don't :)

Yeah he knows his onions. :D

Been meaning to make a sheet folder like his for a while, sort of got the bits and use a vice and G-Clamps.. now motivated to put them all together into a permanent folder.
I knocked a very rough copy of it and it is well handy when forming up patches.
He also posts on mig-welding.co.uk another good reason to register there.To the O.P help is out there for welding noobs you may not reach the dizzy heights of welding god but more than enough help and advice out there to get you to MOT standard welding its not the dark art some would have you believe. :roll:
