I think you really like van 2...so why don't you have a think what you would be happy to pay, and try and do a deal with van 2 owner.
Like someone has already mentioned, dealing with the owner rather than a garage - who has probably jacked the price up compared to what he actually paid in part ex - could be better in the long run, and give you peace of mind IMHO.
At the end of the day, It's your money, not ours.
