Thats basically the same set up as I used a few years back.
Only I bought recon stuff to make sure it worked first before spending a fortune, and good job as the first one failed!

Presuming then after Simon's comments, this can be recommended as a much better clutch for carrying the extra torque once one starts hotting a TD up.

same here i used all bits i had spare in garage from various golfs and other vw based project's over the years. just shows that old junk i'm never going to use might come in handy one day!
