Probably a stupid question but the if the syncro doesnt have captain seats at the front can i fit t4 captains seats to a t25? Are the sizes different for the seats for t4 compared to t25/t3?

@ Cooper

If you have all the parts together power steering can be fitted in less than a day. RHD power racks are not that easy to get but all the rest of the stuff is available. E Bay is a good place to start. There is always electric steering but that another ball game altogether

The six bolts that hold the brake backplate on are bigger too

14" rear backplates have what? a big dowel pin, two M10 bolts plus the brake slave cylinder's bolt and small dowel (5 shear pins effectively)

Interesting pics though Lloyd, as I thought that my 2.6i had 16" rear brakes. The drums and shoes are 16" size, but the bearing carrier is 14", so they must have a unique backplate.

Bloody mongrel of a bus

I guess that Cooper doesn't fancy my daily-driver, ultra-reliable bus then? It did some work today moving fencing materials for my BIL, might keep it after all

An extra 2k on Cooper's budget would see the body sorted, or has that all changed again? I can't keep up...

Why? You don't have to use both.
