I hope your right, should be fitting pump later today light permitting. Will still be playing on my mind for a while after, even if it does work

Those pumps are a b'stard! SA has one and I got the wrong plug first time round too. From BW, not their fault
Mine came unglued between the two halves of the impeller casing...

Watch out for the clamp not sealing the hose properly, they seem to be slightly different size on the spigot and then weep when hot

Filled it all back up (coolant) system pressurised very quickly, pipes were still quite cool. Engine noise very metallic if that makes sense? Drove ok but temp rose quickly if you put my foot down, temp also a fair bit higher than normal with just standard driving. Got home and checked water tank, when revving engine lots of little bubbles.
Booked in for TDI with Dave

There are 2 pumps.
Both have different connectors, but we have both styles of connector in stock.

251 965 561 B has 19mm hose tails and has a connector with 2, pff, dunno what you would call them... bars down it
Packard connector

034 965 561 C has 20mm hose tails and a connector with one bar down it.
Junior timer housing connector

Both are expensive, sorry!

We've seen a lot here with the smaller 19mm hose tailed one in a pipe that's had a 20mm pump in before and they always leak on the connection.

Oh, on the aftermarket there is only Bosch that sells 034 965 561 C, no one else is listed as supplying it.
