take off your big bumpers etc before doing that Nothing quite like the sight of a grown man crying over bits of plastic of course you could buy it then swap it for an even rarer rhd custom single cab
The present owner has e mailed me a zip file containing 8 pictures of the Tristar taken in August this year. Overall the condition could be described as superb. There are signs of wear on the drivers seat and a small water? stain on the headlining near an interior light but otherwise the interior looks very good indeed. Externally, apart from a few very small areas of rust - mostly in the black lower areas, the bodywork could almost be described as pristine. The tyres look almost mew (BFGoodrich) but the wheels have been changed for black-painted steel wheels with chrome hub caps. I shall need to find out whether the owner still has the original multi-spoke wheels. The high soft top in blue is not the most attractive feature but is obviously very practical - it allows the sides to be dropped for access. The drop sides internally and load area floor are checker plated. There is no doubt the Tristar would look more attractive with a Vindic hardtop or a tonneau cover and with 5 spoke alloy wheels but these are minor points.
We are still trying to arrange a time for viewing but with Christmas coming up and all of us working on weekdays it seems likely it will now not be until the new year.
I would need to get the present owner's permission to post pictures of the Tristar but as an experiment I have tried to upload both the whole zip file and just one of the pictures and both are too big for the Forum system to accept. Can anyone advise how I can upload some pictures when I get permission to do so. As you will gather I am no expert in these matters.
I forgot to add that we would be doing no off roading which would risk any part of the Tristar being ripped off. We both own 4 wheel drive cars at present and enjoy their abilities - but not to the extent of causing them any damage and the same would apply to the Tristar. It would be regarded as a very special and treasured possession which would give us great pleasure without us needing to test it to the max.
Many thanks to the members who have send me pm's telling me how best to upload pictures. I shall have a go at it when I have the present owner's permission. In the meantime season's greetings to all members.
I spend most of my time on the BY forum but come to realise that there's just as much taking the pee on here and I've started to feel at home here too!

To which of the upper value figures do you refer for this crew cab based vehicle? What would be your upper value figure?
10,000 zargs.
but a photographic reproduction illustrating the current state of the crafts external hull would throw a liitle more illumination on the matter.
without pictures this thread is illogical captain
I have photographs of the Tristar and I have seen it and driven it and made an offer for it which has been accepted subject to something the present owner has to clear first. I shall know within about a week whether the deal is on. Some responses are indeed very boring, I wonder why people bother to make them, they must have too much time on their hands. Some members are being very helpful via pm's, it's a pity they don't feel free to make their comments publicly but the 'humorous' minority seem to dictate the tone.
