Right, just swapped out the old Busschmeide vacuum switch for a new one provided by Aidan from classic parts. It has solved the problem. Hurray.

Here is a video of plumbing and switches. Excuse the Kraftwerk in the background, the CD is still in the Dub from our German trip where Kraftwerks Autobahn was played (to the annoyance of the family) by me on the autobahn. Louise wont let me have the cd in the house

RESULT!! Hope my fix is as quick although I have a suspicion it wont be. Our Syncro is fighting us every step of the way but we will get there!

Thanks Clive, just been up on Dartmoor in the snow flurries and over the 100 miles the decoupler is back to normal.

AH, snow flurries eh? Funny sort of frozen snow here on and off.. strange styuff, but not amounting to much yet, but temps dropped noticeably tonight
