Just been reading through this thread again. I've got our fridge out for a bit of tlc at the moment and whilst it's out I want to remove the fabric wall lining stuff that is on the body panel behind the fridge, treat the rust and then put waxoyl and thermawrap insulation on the panel.

I've got the silver tape to stick the thermawrap in place but then I was thinking that if I cover the panel in waxoyl the tape isn't going to stick to it. So I guess my question is, will I be able to rub off small patches of waxoyl so I can stick the tape to the panel, or should I do one rather than the other i.e. waxoyl and no insulation, or vice versa?

Grateful for any suggestions / ideas.

hi tony

the waxoly substance that was on my panels was dry (like paint)
there will be a rust treatment that dries so you can stick the thermawrap to it
try http://www.frost.co.uk/

should find something there

all the best, any other Q's please dont hesitate

Thanks keet, I'm expecting a Frost order to be delivered any day now, so I'll maybe just use vactan and this stuff instead of waxoyl then:
