PEET wrote:Right FINALLY the engineer has the latest (mk3) prototype ready! Fitting tomoro, apologies but you know how it is he is near retired (he's 70!) family friend that dont work much but he's one of the best i know, and they havent been the easiest thing to get to fit. As i said we were trying to get it so that mirrors n vans dont get damaged with the mirrors getting up to £70 a pair at times it's better if they are peferct adaptor.
So thanx for the patience chaps if these work then it'll be all systems go!

8) you know I want a set,I'll then be able to see out of my passenger mirror

Had the 1st quotes in and not good news. Looking at £26 plus alloy per pair and that is cost to me which seems way too much, that was for a Run of 25 pairs and in aluminium. I Am going to try a place that specialises in plastics and can mould inserts in for th threads and hope that will be cheaper. sorry for delay but as anyone that knows me will tell you i've been busy seeking a new van for myself and sorting the old one for sale so big apologies but i shall start to get this sorted now, esp seeing how i have new project startin.. Peet 8) !
