The prices of the vans have shot up in the last 12 months, i wish id brought one last year when they were around £1000 cheaper. Ive seen some nice vans on ebay go for up to £8000!!!! I payed just over 4,000 for my early air cooled. I am puzzled why you would swap the bay for a t25. I love mine but if i had more cash i would have brought a bay. Apologies if thats sacralidge to say on here .

Interestingly there is a thread on brickyard now that says the exact opposite.....i think people are struggling to sell premium priced vans.
I wouldnt pay 5 k for this one....although I'm not saying its a bad example. Just not a 5 k example

Depends why you want the van, I s'pose. Do you want probably the most practical, usable car-footprint campervan - or do you want to pay a chunk of scene tax to be one of the cool kids? One's far better for one, the other's far better for t'other.

They don't seem to be struggling to sell high value vans on e-bay there are 2 or 3 on at the moment over the 6,000 mark. £3500 seems to be the average for a tidy ish van.

I think the "high value van" comment was probably referring to the various pretty-pretty £10-15k high-spec very late Calis & Atlantics, rather than half that...

Quick reply as i am now at work.
I have owned bays since the late 70s. This is my third, wife loves them too i did own an Aircooled t25 and quite liked it. I just thought it may be more ecomical and practicle to have that t25.
