Well the lower grill has been removed , see ebay in a weeks time, rare lower grill in taupe,
A few packages arrived and these are some of the items, lovely genuine rubber
Image
its going in here
Image
but as its new rubber and is firm a touch of vaseline was applied and then as they say in ncis a blunt tauma causing instrument was used
Image
and its in
Image
the rest of the seals and scapers are new as well, so all very posh and should last for years
Image
now vans are inanimate objects but this is kind of er well I wont say the word,
Image
n/s/ rear gutter
Image
soon be needing space for another sticker
Image
the mats were stuck down with adhesive, I have chosen to spray dynax on and then fit the new rubbers, then will dynax from the underside as well. I figure that as we climb in with wet feet etc this runs off and into the footwell and then under the mat and the rest is history, bonding down is a way but I think doing this way means ant water will not penetrate and it cant come up from below, so should work good, also its easy to lift a mat out and if needed reapply the dynax and refit, its something to think about doing at least a couple of times a year maybe??
Image
kevs tasty doorcards
Image
I know this may seem anal but I have set the winder so its at 12 oclock when window wound up, looks right to me,,and yes IU like to spce poprivits and such and I also like to see screw heads especially slotted in a line . its just neat and tidy and costs nothing but a minute of effort.
Image
i was cleaning a nozzle on the dynax and can I tell you that it tastes **** and its greasy on your face,
glazier comes in the morning so 8 bits of glass going in with new seals all round,

this is what happens when you use a screwdriver without supervision

front getting sorted, new clips and bits

this is why its realy worth removing the doors and stripping them so painnt gets to where it should
Image
sorry bout the poor light

Superb, ouch about your finger.

One observation though, and I'm trying not to be picky, but that second vent, the silver one, would it not of been possible to of resprayed that? Looks a shame it looking used/old on the newly applied pain Mike.

Loving the attention to detail. What is all this lot costing btw? Interested in budget etc, but understand if this is not for public knowledge
