only a nice 1/2 hr drive over the hill, loads of goodies,as well as the flue and other biyts also decided thbat the vents were looking skanky and would show it up so

11/10 for heritage for a superb bit of packing
that grotty fronmt panal , well, the past keeper took or had taken an angle grinder to it and hadnt even removed the bug grill, sick of cleaning overpaint of bodgers works

ok its not a critical thing but its sloppy and points to other things that say not maintained etc,its better now !

rear tow bar and such back together, again I retapped the mount threads (m12 ,M10) so finger free bolting up which is always nicer, only fitted the one socket back , had to swop the pin block over from the all black uk one as it had lost its cover,

bumper now refitted, it was a bit bent but straightened out reasonably and far better than a pattern one, found a s/hand end to use

popped the dash out again and ran a new pipe to the washers,

a little sealant added to the hole and in they go , geniuine every time ,not worth pattern as they are nearly the same price and are rubbish
sad as it may be, i like the look of these washers

Well a nice day,
ta, but i put more care than my own will ever get, cobblers and shoes,as the sayimng goes.
started to glaze it this aft, dash back in and all sorted, so reblacked the front bit of dash while access is easy then the screen

and here starts the first problem ,Non original rubber, rang the supplier and they appologised and a genuine is in the post
rear is genuine and plopped in as they do ,
so a quick 40 mins and the 4 sides are all in and happy

just the window frame to clean up.
i coat these areas with dynax to help keep things at bay

reblacked the mirrors as they are genuine and nothing really wrong with them, and new J seals fitted, the 1/4 glasses I take out the rubbers and clean independantly then its done once right

the dirty colour around the periphery of the grill is more dynax that i have brushed in

rest of door is done so im now awaiting a drop by parcelfarce as they lost it at the beginning of the week , but have now aquired ?it so are doing a 1 off saturday run
pickerd up the new flooring and may end up getting bthe same for my van as its looking faded and this stuff is nice , well I think it is so
mostly boring stuff now but it has to be done till the next chop up

Is that a black insert in the rubbers instead of the chrome one?

yes but......dont forget its a panal van conversion so they didnt have chrome effect inserts as the higher spec factory glazed vans,
that said i can do the above in a choice of colours including chrome effect. also can do the factory ones with at the last look black and another colour
