Re: Ingenious ideas???
(I'm with CovKid on the fridge - sorry)
As far as time saving tricks. If we are going away Friday night we make up some spag-bog or chili during the day. wrap the saucepan in tea towels (we use camping saucepans that fit in the sink) and when you get to your pitch it's a quick job to heat through and add rice or spaghetti.
New trick learnt last week was to take a small thermos flask if you have one. We all boil too much water in the kettle so put the unused water in the thermos. Then when it is time for mid morning coffee it just needs bringing up to heat. saving gas and time.

And if you choose wisely, many of those meals sold in supermarkets designed as "Microwave meals" work just fine gently heated in a saucepan. I find the pasta based ones from Morrisons are pretty good actually, especially tarted up with some basil and fresh tomato. The curry ones work too, the rice just needs boiling water pouring through it.
Talking of storage spaces. T25's have a space behind the left rear tail light that is full of nothing. I often wonder what useful item could go in there, bearing in mind it is a bit of a faff to get to, what with removing the rear mattress, (and two full drawers in my case), then the engine lid.

I was thinking the other day whether I could securely put a tool bag in that space. More investigation needed.

Re: Ingenious ideas???
Years ago I made a metal box that bolted into the engine bay of one of my bugs. It had a proper lid and was perfect for putting takeways in. Would keep them nice and hot as long as you were driving and used to be great on my 25 mile run from work. Not so easy in a T25.

I really like my Westy's cutting board over the sink to the knife holder and the overhead spice cabinet.
