Looking good. Didnt look like the outer needed much cutting though. It was pretty much off by the look of it.

The rot was all round the bottom, and no it didnt take much cuting(could have farted on it and it would have come off) above that though it was covered in wax or summet like that as is the inner cill.
Talking of that, whats the best treatment for the inside of these panels once replaced? waxoyl ?

Carried on with the cill today, bllody cold aswell.
Repair bits welded in.

cill on.

Cos it was getting me down a bit i decided to sand the lower side down and give it a coat of grey primer so i could see what its gonna look like.
Was well pleased, as was Andrea when she got home.

Carried on with patching the floor on the inside until i ran out of wire for the mig, Ebay here i come

Started surgery on the o/s Rear arch area today, what started off looking like a nice simple panel out and replacement turned out a bit, well shall we say more complicated(not my words at the time)

after some treatment lat month.
cutting the crap out.The brown on the chasis rail isnt rust as i first thought(thank god) its just a residue from the underseal

ooops rust.

cut it out ready for welding tomoro

All the underside and lower panels are sorted, spent yesterday welding the sliding door seal channel, not too bad it had only rotted in a few places and was very localised so didnt need to cut much out,
Today got all the N/s Undersealed and looking good
Cant upload and pics to photobucket for some reason, sorry bout that.
Today removed windscreen and seal to sort rust out round the screen, i was well chuffed in that there are no holes round the screen opening just a bit of surface rust BUT thye seal has been leaking and has ruined the Dash
now nee a new dash(anyone got one?), started to tidy the wiring up andf clean the crown posts . ill; try with photo bucket again
