I never had a Beezer, or a Norton for that matter. I'd have killed for a Commando. My mate had one, he raked out the frame, hard-tailed it, bored the block, it was as sexy as they come. Less than a month after he finished it, some low-life nicked it. About a year later it was spotted for sale a few hundred miles away - cue a club ride-out to have a quiet word!!

I'll be sure to look you up when next we cross. I'll introduce you to proper Welsh cider

LoL! My old XT500 used to give you a fair old whack if you opened the throttle slightly whilst kicking it, tore all ligaments in my foot once.

If you want a good kick back - my BSA M20 (500cc single side valve)used to kick you over the handlebars if you didn't use the manual ignition advance/retard correctly. You had metal plates on the instep of your boot for the kickstart. Kids don't know what motorcycling is today!

lolol - I had a go ona mate's Norton Dominator a few years ago. She had a habit of bouncing you up a bit if you weren't ready for her!! I borrowed her for a weekend and went all over mid-Wales. The bike almost drank more than me

Good god lolol

As an aside, I managed to break a breaker bar (as per that Wiki entry) yesterday, with the scaffolding pole on the end of it, trying to undo a very stubborn rear nut on my mate's trike. I think it was put on there my Brunel and hadn't been removed since.....
