Well that was one of the best weekends I have had in years.
Beautiful site, beautiful people.
Thankyou fellow Syncronauts.
Timmy Depp has asked me to extend his thanks to all concerned.
You can deffo put us both down for this one next year.

Cracking low down there Clive.
I shall reiterate everybodys sentiments this was a fab weekend, even though Pete and I arrived in a poorly vehicle (thanks Russel for the tow). Thanks AndyS for taking Pete away for the day (How did you survive?) and Clive and Jenny for taking me and Georgia.
Roger the trip was .... well AA style! Have spoken with their customer relations today, maybe this may of contributed to my completely seized back?

Days were good but it rained on & off both nights, 'impoved' shelter joiner-upper proved and excellent idea.
Group 3 get to know one another on the way up the back way
Jed exceutes some practice failed ascents - perfectly
Rogers 'go anywhere' Panzer tank taking a well-earned rest
AndyTyke demonstrates why gear selection for climbs is important - Lowbox 1st, nah; lowbox 2nd, nah; lowbox 3rd, YEH!
Bob commits to the climb at full power in 1st and gets up and over
Johnny breezes up on that very nice bit of Honda 4WD kit 'open the throttle wide at your peril'
Mark & Charlie charg at the hill, but Clive has overfilled his sump slightly... honest!
Whoever she was, that's a fair to dinkum pair O' pins !
Russel Syncro-Nutz relaxing and enjoying his impressive mega-lift Westy syncro
The Lonely Tree was a popular place to gather and enjoy a snack and a chat
AndyT's neat bivvy, behind is 131 ft horizontal dipole swung across river, bouncing signal up & down the UK off the ionosphere nicely. Very clear reception (59+15, Hehe learnt soemthing last weekend!)
I think the photo does the talking here... no names, no pack drill
Pleasant break in rainfall at the Sat night barbecue..
Probably starting to rain again...

I think AndyTke was demonstrating the lowest gear that would give the speed to get up, 3rd in low box was the answer (thats what he said and I believed him )
