With regards to the roof rack, I had no idea it was for a splitty or a bay , I don't think any of my mates thought that as well.
IMO it serves a purpose, carrying a spare wheel, maybe water and storage space for when I pull up. Isn't the syncro supposed to be functional?
I know a full length roof rack would be better and maybe more syncro friendly, but for now, it can serve a purpose /quote]

Thats because it's not exclusive to bays or split screen vans. I have a Mitsubishi roof rack, so has Jake, Russel, and that fella with a doka maybe they are "silly" too because they "belong" on another car.....

Don't be put off the syncronauts forum, some like to have their own ideas of what one would like one ones own van. It's when people copy everything you have done to your own one that it starts getting creepy.

Yeah, wasn't put off, I like the advice

We are all gona have different opinions on here, I think the syncro ownership attracts people who like to be different

I've got some syncro mirrors to go on now, I'm sure everyone will agree on these

I think that would be an ecumenical question Ted
I dunno, this new lot they own a syncro for five mins and all of a sudden they become fashionistas and bring morals into it Next thing they'll be telling us you can't wear flip flops and board shorts So is it morally wrong then to put a palllet on the back of a syncro Ian?
At least someone here seems to get my sense of humour
I can't stand flipflops and don't do surf. Duuude. Wouldn't know about the woodwork...

Hah, they are gone now, they got worn through from too much driving.

Not something a problem your Syncro suffers from...
It's turning into a rolling restoration! Except it has to keep stopping for a rest, poor old thing (or is that me?) I'll be needing new seat covers for the SA at this rate, with the miles it's racking up, but that's the joy of a daily driver

bikermike: sorry for the hijack! no offence meant, just having a bit of a laugh. You have got a very tasty van there. When you get to see my syncro you'll see that I'm the last person to be dictating what's appropriate or not - it's a proper old heap!
