Yes it has, took it to the local park and revved the hell out of it [well my boy did] and vented the rad. It got hot and fan came on! Left it like that for a while and the fan cut in and out. Took it out for a drive and all was well. Got it home and removed the turbo to send off for a recon. So hopefully it'll be ok in a week or so's time when the turbo gets back to me.
At least i know how to do it properly now, so cheers for that. [will have a cap and stat as spares now]
