Super Pro spring loaded ones will work but will need a modification to the head

..and there are rumours of the Empi 4109 working according to the Samba..but doesn't seem to be confirmed.

So it would seem again that the Type 4 engine is shortchanged again :'( So much is available for early Campers and Bugs

I think you will find that the type 4 engine tubes generally work better than the type 1's. Obviously they do leak in time though

Can get them for the T25 WBX engine incase anyone has one.

There is nothing wrong with the standard tubes.
They do the job perfectly well, but are let down by some of the seals that are for sale.
The Justkampers ones have never lasted for me and have had limited results with gsf ones.
I had silicone ones (iirc) from coolair which were good, but the best I've had is from Stateside Tuning.

Good advice

I had heard the same about some cheap seals. Always buy the best, and do the job once rather than buying cheap and doing to job again in a couple of months
