Yes I'd thought terminal 50 was normally 4mm, but sure enough I've a T3 dash harness here and it's 6mm. For removing the 3.5mm sockets, I use a short bit of radio antenna tube. For the 1.6mm sockets, I have a VW VAS1978/8 tool (on loan..), which has a central plunger which pushes the termnal out of the housing. There is a current Span-on version (as part of a set at least), and may be others that work.
PS. If anyone reading this has used the Laser 4323 tool set for these I'd be interested to hear.

according to the factory wiring manual, the starter trigger is 6,0 mm2 (D24 pin at the fuse panel) and the ingnition switch side is 4,0 mm2 (B8 pin at the fuse panel)
