Used to have a 50 litre tank , tap and sink , never used them so removed them . I dont go on wild camping and long adventures away from campsites really.

We stayed in campsites for a fair bit of our trip - but still used the tap/tank a lot. It's just so much more civilised not to have to wander all the way to the bogblock - anything up to a couple of hundred metres, and not always terribly savoury - to do stuff you can easily do without getting out the van.
I have witnessed the state of campsite sinks, the way others leave it in particular.
I do not like spending my time cleaning up someones mess, mountain of suds.. and scrapings left in the sink.
My sink is used, and it's clean.
It's there to be used so I use it. Cook, clean, drink with it - boiled or not. Never been ill from it or had any taste issues. I've lived in my van for just over a year now and mostly wild camp. I fill up anywhere there's a tap to use. In the UK/Europe I don't usually bother to treat the water but now I'm on my second 'over winter' stay in Morocco and all I do extra is dose the tank with capful of liquid steriliser each fill up. I use the same stuff to clean the tank once a year (extra dose - leave overnight). I can honestly say that I can't feel the difference whether the tank is full or empty when driving.
