After some faffing around I have traced the battery drain to bullet fuse 7, which is just for the radiator fan (assuming that no-one has attached something to that part of the circuit that I do not know about). I have taken fuse 7 out for the moment as the weather is cold. The van is going to be checked out next week. I will let you know the result.

Discussed with my mate Mike at the garage and my tracker guy. It's the GPS that draws the power. I'm charging the battery and replaced the regulator pack with a 14.5 volt one. With a bit of luck that should deal with it!
