I had the webasto because of a few other reasons.
I have a huge petrol fuel tank doing nothing
Its practically silent
More efficient than the propex I had
I can remotely start it
But the biggest and by far the most important thing is its fast...
Whithin two mins the van is warming up

Just a little update on the pump. I removed all the old pipework and connected to 12v. Pump spurted a tiny amount of fuel that was still inside it.
Repeated this a few times and was getting a little spurt each time. So I assume from this rather basic test that it is working.
I have dropped the heater off of the van but, What test can I perform on this? Or do I just have to try and get hold of an ECU.

i removed a diesle ebber from a for varoiuse rasons the main one being the pump failed, therefore i could not get it to work, the van will be converted to petrol in due time. i also had a propex that was getting very little use so logical thing to do was to install it.
i dont know how compatible the diesle and petrol parts, but i have an almost complete diesle system sitting in the garage. missing parts are, pump, ducting and the vent that hot air vents through at the bottom of the r/r bed.
if you can use any thing it is for sale as a whole or as parts. but sold as seen
thanks neil
