Yep timer is connected to the stat/control box

Originally I had a battery powered thermostatic timer fitted but they are poor because they have a minimum temp as well as a maximum temp as they are designed for houses. So I fitted just a standard timer that needs + - 12v power from the battery

Here's the diagram I made (just note that the timer I have also has a + - 12v feed to the battery)

The timer I bought was this onebut cheaper. They don't seem to be on ebay anymore

Something like thiswould be fine

This is automatically topped up every time I refuel the main LPG tank and so far, the LPG leisure tank has never run out of gas. I think it holds about 20 litres, but I could be mistaken.
The heater electrics run off the leisure battery which is also of an adequate capacity. I am confident that I have the best possible system to suit my needs. My only niggle at the moment is that I have recently purchased a gas barbecue / bacon butty factory for which I need a Gaz bottle. I plan on persuading Steve at Gasure to fit an external gas tap to feed the bbq from the leisure tank at some point soon. I am sure he will advise me on the subject.
My arrangements may not suit everybody, but with LPG at 64p per litre locally to me, I am not bothered about claiming any tax back, or fitting diseasel tanks, or anything else.

did you have the leisure tank fitted and if so what was the cost/where was it done? thanks

Click on the link in my signature. All will be revealed (except the price, which is available on application - it may have changed since I had mine done. It may also vary depending on the pipework required. :D )
